The following is a sermon or "talk" which I delivered to the Longfellow Park YSA Latter-day Saint ward, located Boston, Massachusetts, on June 25th, 2023.
The Realities of Love
When we conflate the realities we live by with the larger reality which pervades any attempt to confine it within the subjective, we’ll ultimately reach a place where the actions of others appear as misguided, if not cruel, and misleading, if not also unloving. Here, love consists of more than just intent, but impact and relationship as well. What is offered in love by one will be but a partial love, at best, if it isn’t received as such.

Full-inclusion of our LGBTQ+ and gender-expansive siblings may be seen as a bridge too far; a place that we simply can't go given how entrenched and frequent teachings espousing a heteronormative Plan of Salvation have been from those we hold to be inspired Church leaders. Fortunately, we have established precedent in Church history for re-envisioning the cosmos in such a dramatic way.
